I think this year was the best in the institute. We learned so much,we laughed, acted, studied,read and we did a new partner.Her name is Brendy and she is very funny and sweet.

I think that this year we connected more among us, we could meet better, we could explore in ourselves.

I wanted to thank our teacher, for being very funny, for being like she is. I love her laugh, finally she is the best of the best.

Hello!!

My name is Lei and I would like to tell you what I think about this year....Well, I started my lessons expecting to learn lots of things, and guess what ? I did.

With this new teacher that I didn´t know and my partners that now are my friends I learnt more than I expected.

Because with them I learnt how to laugh and cry at the same time...How to speak English veeeeeery well :) and how to understand that the person that is at your side can be more than your simple partner...or teacher!! But the best is that we learnt all that together, as the group we are. THE SUPER POWERS!!!!!!

One week ago, Jack Frost stole all the jewels of Fairyland. With Rachel’s and Kristy’s help Queen Titania and King Oberon could find some jewels.
- Lucy is very frightened because she doesn’t find her stone - said Queen Titania.
- We must find her diamond - said Rachel.
Kirsty had a dream, where she could see Lucy’s jewel. When she woke up, she told this to Rachel; - the jewel is near the sky said Kirsty - it’s on a roof, but how strange… it’s a Chinese roof !!
Rachel ran to her backpack and she took her locket, Kirsty did the same, they rubbed their lockets together and a rain of sparkle start falling down their heads. When they opened their eyes they were in Fairyland. Queen Titania and King Oberon were waiting for them. – It’s in China!! Lucy’s diamond is in China-
shouted Kirsty.
- Lucy, Lucy, came here!!!- said King Oberon. -You are going to travel with the girlies to China!-
[In China…]
- Do you remember where is the jewel?- asked Lucy
- No, but I know how the roof looks like – said Kirsty

EMILY THE EMERALD FAIRY by Florencia, Nadia and Brenda


Rachel went to Kirsty’s house to stay with her, to find Emily’s Emerald.
They were on holiday. They had to help the fairies from Jack Frost. They supposed that he was in the park.
They helped two more fairies before and now they have to help Emily the Emerald Fairy, who has the power of seeing magic.
When Rachel arrived she saw Kirsty with Emily. After that she told them that her Emerald was near Mr. Smith’s garage, but it was not there. The girls thought that it might be in the park, and suddenly Kirsty’s mum came in and asked them to go to the park.
So the left to the park. When they arrived there they realized it was going to be very difficult because there were lots of children around.
Emily has afried because shu thougth they could ´t find her jewel.

SUMMARY: INDIA THE MOONSTONE FAIRY by Daisy Meadows.

Rachel Walker and her best friend Kristy Tate share a big and strange secret. They are friends with the fairies! In the past they lived wonderful adventures trying to help them from the mean Jack Frost. But now the fairies are in trouble again, Jack Frost had stolen the seven Magical jewels from the Queen’s crown. King Oberon and Queen Titania asked Rachel and Kristy to find them, with some help of the fairies. The first one is called India the Moonstone Fairy.
Rachel was having a nightmare with the goblins, Jack Frost’s helpers ,when her friend Kristy woke her up. Rachel was telling Kristy about her bad dream when they realized their lockets were glowing, it was a call from the fairies. Suddenly they were at the King and Queen’s castle. They asked for their help to catch Jack Frost and have the Moonstone again in their hands. The girls accepted.
The girls and India, the Fairy went to Rachel’s neighourhood , because there they saw the Moonstone. When they got there Mrs. Parker, the owner of the house, said that they could look for the missing ball. They saw the baby Ellie sleeping in her stroller, when they saw the mobile on the stroller they understood why the baby was sleeping so well.When the mother went inside they tried to take the moonstone but two goblins try to avoid it. The Fairy put the goblins to sleep and the girls could take the jewel back to Fairyland. India's magic came back and they were very happy....but they still need to find the rest of the jewels!!!

Chaiten Volcano Erupts

Chaiten Volcano, from Chile, errupted yesterday after 9000 years. Over 4500 people were evacuated from south of Chile. The ash was carried across the Andes to Argentina. The geologs didn`t monitorized the volcano because they considered it asleep. Very rarely it happens that the asleep volcanos to wake up and errup. It`s not strange because the humans are responsable for this. The poluation and the global heating lead to this strange behavior.

After more than 9,000 years of silence, Chaitén Volcano in southern Chile erupted on May 2, 2008.
Chile's long-dormant Chaiten volcano spewed clouds of gray smoke, hot rocks and toxic gas on Tuesday, forcing authorities to order the complete evacuation of two nearby towns, media reports said.
More than 4,000 people left the town of Chaiten, 10 kilometers (six miles) from the volcano, after the initial eruption. Several hundred are still waiting to leave. Futaleufu, 70 kilometers (44 miles) to the east, is also being evacuated.
The volcano's column of smoke and ash stretched more than 19 kilometers (12 miles) into the sky on Monday, Chile's National Geology and Mineral Service reported, and it extended well into neighboring Argentina and to the Atlantic Ocean.

One day Jack went to the lake to fish something to eat.. He went by boat.
First Jack took his fishing rod and he walked down to the lake. He threw out the line

Later he felt a sharp pull, and rolled in the line. There was a big salmon, a big fish on it .After some minutes he made a fire near the forest. Jack cooked the salmon fish, suddenly he heard a dog howl. When the fish was ready he started eating.

But some minutes later Jack looked up and he get a big surprise; a big black dog was sitting opposite him. He felt pity for the dog and he threw piece of fish to the dog.

Mother Teresa´s true name was Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu. She was born in 1910 .She was born in Skopje ,She died in September 1997.In 1950, she and her helpers formed the Missionaries of Charity and Mother Theresa was the leader. When she was 18, she became part of Ireland's Order of the Sisters of Our Lady of Loreto. She trained in Dublin, Ireland and Darjiling, India.In 1979, she received the Nobel Peace Prize for her accomplishments. Mother Theresa worked as a principal at a high school in Kolkota, but the sight of the sick and dying in the streets made her change her mind of what to do. In 1948, she was allowed to leave her office to help the sick. In 1950, she and her helpers formed the Missionaries of Charity and Mother Theresa was the leader. However, a book of her quotations and anecdotes Mother Theresa: In My Own Words was published. A year later, she chose Sister Nirmala to be the next leader of the Missionaries of Charity.

Nevertheless, Columbus's voyage came at a critical time of growing national imperialism and economic competition between developing nation states seeking wealth from the establishment of trade routes and colonies. The term Pre-Columbian is sometimes used to refer to the people and cultures of the Americas before the arrival of Columbus and further European influence.
The anniversary of the 1492 voyage (vd. Columbus Day) is observed on October 21 throughout the Americas and in Spain

Marie Curie
Marie Curie was born in Poland on November 7, 1867. At the age of 16 she won a gold medal when finishing the secondary school. After a while, she started working as a teacher to help her family. When she has a 18 years old, she worked as a governess and paid for her sister´s medical school with the money she received.
In 1891, Marie went to Paris and worked at a laboratory of the physicist Gabriel Lippman. In 1894, she met Pierre Curie, and they got married on July 25, 1895.In 1898 they discovered the element Polonium. . A few months later, she and Pierre also discovered Radium. Marie also obtained pure metallic radium with A. Debierne and in 1903, Marie won the Nobel Prize in Physics. She became the first woman to receive a Novel Prize in Physics. In 1904 she was an assistant of the laboratory at Sevres.
On April 19, 1906, Marie’s husband died but she continued her scientific work. She became the first female head of Laboratory at the Sorbonne University in Paris in 1906 and also received another Nobel Prize, this one in Chemistry, in 1911. She was the first person ever to win two Nobel Prizes. In 1922, Marie became a member of the Academy of Medicine.
On July 4, 1934, Marie died of leukemia, probably caused by her exposure to radiation during her experiments.

Napoleon Bonaparte was born on 15 August 1769 in Corsica into a gentry family. Educated at military school, he was rapidly promoted and in 1796, was made commander of the French army in Italy, where he forced Austria and its allies to make peace. In 1798, Napoleon conquered Ottoman-ruled Egypt in an attempt to strike at British trade routes with India. He was stranded when his fleet was destroyed by the British at the Battle of the Nile.
France now faced a new coalition - Austria and Russia had allied with Britain. Napoleon returned to Paris where the government was in crisis. In a coup d'etat in November 1799, Napoleon became first consul. In 1802, he was made consul for life and two years later, emperor. He oversaw the centralisation of government, the creation of the Bank of France, the reinstatement of Roman Catholicism as the state religion and law reform with the Code Napoleon.
In 1800, he defeated the Austrians at Marengo. He then negotiated a general European peace which established French power on the continent. In 1803 Britain resumed war with France, later joined by Russia and Austria. Britain inflicted a naval defeat on the French at Trafalgar (1805) so Napoleon abandoned plans to invade England and turned on the Austro-Russian forces, defeating them at Austerlitz later the same year. He gained much new territory, including annexation of Prussian lands which ostensibly gave him control of Europe. The Holy Roman Empire was dissolved, Holland and Westphalia created, and over the next 5 years, Napoleon's relatives and loyalists were installed as leaders (in Holland, Westphalia, Italy, Naples, Spain and Sweden).
In 1810, he had his childless marriage to Josephine de Beauharnais annulled and married the daughter of the Austrian emperor in the hope of having an heir. A son, Napoleon, was born a year later.
The Peninsular War began in 1808. Costly French defeats over the next five years drained French military resources. Napoleon's invasion of Russia in 1812 resulted in a disastrous retreat. The tide started to turn in favour of the allies and in March 1814, Paris fell. Napoleon went into exile on the Mediterranean island of Elba. In March 1815 he escaped and marched on the French capital. The Battle of Waterloo ended his brief reign. The British imprisoned him on the remote Atlantic island of St. Helena where he died on 5 May 1821.

Mostly A: You are a very, very, very good person. When someone has problems…you`re there. Probably in the future you`re going to be someone that any people can help you.
